Exciting cooperation between LongHash Ventures with Terraform Labs has led to the introduction of the LongHashX Accelerator Terra cohort. As a result, founders and entrepreneurs in the Terra ecosystem will now have access to the LongHashX Accelerator, launched in 2018.
A year ago, Terra’s Total Value Locked (TVL) was less than $1 billion, but now it stands at $37.5B, the second-largest blockchain in terms of TVL. Since LongHash Ventures has a proven track record of advancing and investing in major Web3 protocols, Terraform Labs decided to join forces. LongHash Ventures’ accelerator collaboration approach, which has previously included Polkadot, Filecoin, Algorand, and others, continues with this cooperation.
Along with its known thought leadership in Web3-native subjects, LongHash Venture offers its network of investors and entrepreneurs access to any startup chosen to join the program and offers an investment of up to US$500k. Web3 protocols built on Terra’s blockchain will be the main focus of LongHash Ventures’ investment and acceleration efforts. However, LongHash Ventures is optimistic that this is only the beginning of their relationship with Terraform Labs.
Emma Cui, a founding partner of LongHash Ventures, stated:
“As we significantly scale up our LongHashX Accelerator program in 2022, we are thrilled to partner with Terra to run our next cohort. We have been very impressed by the protocols and development of the Terra ecosystem, and we are very excited to continue to expand our accelerator partnership model with one of the world’s leading Web3 ecosystems. The collaboration gives us an opportunity to accelerate and invest in the next generation of projects building on Terra.”
Ten initiatives will be accepted for the LongHashX Accelerator Terra cohort, which will begin in June 2022 and last for 12 weeks. In addition, six areas of help and advice will be provided to projects: product strategy and design, tokenomics, governance, tech mentoring, community development, and fundraising.
There will also be one-on-one issue solving sessions with venture builders and mentor office hours every week at the LongHashX Accelerator and seminars and bonfire talks every week with industry heavyweights. During the program’s Demo Day, the businesses will present their business plans to potential investors.
Do Kwon, Co-Founder and CEO of Terraform Labs (TFL), stated:
“The LongHashX Accelerator has a consummate track-record as one of the most successful programs for accelerating Web3 startups. The new Terra cohort unlocks a streamlined pathway for builders to pursue bold ideas replete with first-class resources, workshops, and guidance – further accelerating a wave of innovation in the Terra ecosystem.”
LongHashX is the pioneer and leading Web3 accelerator in Asia. There are just a few venture capital companies that have their own accelerator program and provide complete assistance for startups throughout the whole process.
